WinView Games is a unique gaming platform that differs from Sports Betting and Daily Fantasy Sports.

While WinView has wrinkles of both, it reminds me of sports betting more than anything else with DFS sprinkled in.

At WinView, users can participate in both free and paid contests that relate to their predictions on a particular sporting event.

While sportsbooks feature moneyline bets, over/under total bets, point spread bets, and prop bets, WinView is slightly different. Most of the picks that you make are related to prop bets in one form or another.

Although you will find various prop types to choose from when entering a contest, you will mostly compile your picks from game props and player props in a yes or no format.

You will even find questions correlated to the outcome of the game, like who will win?

So if you are looking for a unique way to make money while watching sports, then keep reading this guide.

I will analyse the different contest types at WinView Games while detailing how to play them to make your user experience easier when you sign up.

If you want an overall overview of WinView Games, you can read my full review right here at BestOdds.com.

What Is WinView Games?

WinView Games is a gaming platform that touts itself as “the best thing to happen to sports since fantasy.”

You can be the judge of that, but WinView is certainly worth your time to try at the very least.

At WinView, sports fans can make money by watching real live sporting events based on their predictions of what will happen next. This is like live betting with a fantasy spin.

From the NFL down to a unique market like martial arts, if it is on television live, you will likely find a contest for it at WinView.

Users will play against each other for real money and real cash prizes predicting the outcome of an event by answering yes or no questions.

You can make your predictions either before or during the event.

WinView offers its users both free and paid contests to enter. So if you want to just play for fun, you can do that at WinView, which you can play on their website or mobile app.

If you want to play for money, all you have to do is sign up and make your initial deposit. Then, you start playing. If you want to play for free, you can play as a guest.

Contest Types At WinView Games

WinView Games offers its users two simple to play game modes. Pregame Predict and Watch and Predict. Below, I will detail what these modes are and how to play them.

Pregame Predict

When you enter a Pregame Predict contest, users will make anywhere from 8-to-10 predictions based on the event they chose.

Here are examples of the questions you will find:

  • Will any player score more than 35 points in a game?
  • Will the game be decided by fewer than 5 points or go into overtime?
  • Who will win the game?
  • Will JimmyButler or Jayson Tatum record more than 2 three-pointers in the game?

Remember, these are all yes or no questions and answers. And after you make your picks, just sit back, watch the game and see if your picks are right or wrong.

Watch & Predict Contests

In a Watch and Predict contest, users will answer 18-to-22 questions during a live sporting event of choice.

While most of your Watch and Predict questions will come during the live event, you will still have to make a few of your predictions before the start of the game, which are pregame props correlated to the matchup.

Here are examples of questions you will find in Watch and Preditc contests:

  • Who will have more rushing yards (Saquon Barkley or Dalvin Cook)?
  • Which player will record more rebounds (Kevin Durant or Andre Drummond)?
  • Will the game go into overtime?
  • Which player will record more total bases (Bryce Harper or Pete Alonso)?

While you can just sit back and watch when entering a pregame predict contest, you must be alert when playing in a Watch and Predict format.

After you make your pregame picks, you must then watch the game and answer prop-based questions until the end of a period.

Private Contests

Users can even create private contests at WinView Games to make watching an event even more fun, competitive and lucrative amongst family and friends.

You can create a private contest by clicking on the “Social” button. Private contests can have up to 20 players.

Contest Entry Types

You can enter each contest type in four different ways at WinView Games.

And when you play for real cash, you can enter as many times as you want in three of the four formats. The only format that will cap you is beginner contests.

  • Beginner: Beginner contests are open to brand new players. You can only enter 20 contests in Beginner mode.
  • Classic: Classic contests vary in size and are in a multiplayer format.
  • Multiplier: In Multiplier contests, users can double, triple, and even quadruple their entry fee.
  • 50/50: Similar to the 50/50 contests you will find at DraftKings, FanDuel, and ThriveFantasy, half of the player pool will win a prize.

Scoring At WinView Games’ Contests

For Watch and Predict games, each entry is based on a single quarter of an NFL or an NBA matchup.

If you are able to get to a contest before the game starts, you will be asked to 6 prop predictions. Then, during the game, more props will appear during breaks and in between plays.

Live game props are made by official WinView producers who are monitoring and watching the game just like you. Producers will also interact with players in the room as well.

Users will make thor picks based on a points pool. Similar to wagering, a user can make a safe pick for 250 points, make a riskier pick for 500 points or make a wild prediction for 750 points.

There is even an option where a user can make something called a “One-Shot” pick where they can make 1000 points without the penalty of losing points.

The more longshot picks that you make and get right, the more points that you will earn. But clearly, there is more risk involved here. So be wise with your plays.

If you are playing in a cash contest, the user that accumulates the most points at the end of the quarter will win a cash prize.

While users can enter the same contest multiple times, predictions will remain the same in every contest.

How Does WinView Differ From A Sportsbook?

One of the great differences between WinView and sports betting is the fact that at sportsbooks, you are betting against the house.

At WinView, you are playing against other users. At sportsbooks, the house always seems to have an edge.

At WinView, you just need to beat other users, which isn’t difficult if you know your stuff or do a little research.

How Does WinView Differ From DFS?

Contrary to tried and true DFS operators where contests are based on a single or multiple games, WinView contests are centered around single quarters.

What’s more, rather than building your ticket from players at DFS apps, you are predicting what will happen next live while the game unfolds at WinView.
