The Seattle Seahawks travel into Cincinnati to face the Bengals at Paycor Stadium in Week 6.
Seattle has had a strong start, winning three of their first four games, including an overtime thriller over the Detroit Lions.
The Seahawks are averaging 27.8 points per game this season (6th in the NFL), and the opposing Bengals are averaging just 16.6 points per game (27th in the NFL), but with two subpar defenses squaring up, there could be plenty of scoring in this matchup for both sides.
Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow appears to have steadied his inconsistencies and reconnected with his No. 1 target, Ja’Marr Chase.
Burrow will face the Seahawks’ 31st-ranked passing defense this week!
Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker has scored five rushing touchdowns in his last three games.
Walker will face the Bengals’ 31st-ranked rushing defense this week!
This game should have plenty of big offensive plays, and I’m all for it.
Time to place a Same Game Parlay, with this slip being placed at DraftKings.
Kenneth Walker – OVER 66.5 Rushing Yards (-115) AND Anytime Touchdown (-105 DraftKings)
In the last two weeks, the Bengals got rolled over by Tennessee Titans’ running back Derrick Henry for 122 yards and a touchdown and then allowed Arizona Cardinals’ running backs James Conner and Emari Demercado to continue that trend the very next week.
Conner ran for 46 yards on just six carries (7.7 yards per carry) before leaving the game with an injury. Demercado filled in nicely, collecting 45 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.
Even Cardinals’ wide receiver Rondale Moore got in on the running action, picking up 50 rushing yards on just three attempts.
The best way to slip past Cincinnati’s defense is by using the ground game.
This all bodes well for Kenneth Walker.
Walker has reached at least 64 rushing yards in three of his four contests this season, and in his last two games, he has picked up a 30+ yard run.

Walker could pick up another 30+ yard gain this week, and if he does, I’d certainly feel comfortable with Walker hitting the over on his 66.5 rushing yards prop.
Seattle receiver DK Metcalf is questionable, so the Seahawks’ passing attack could be limited.
Even with Metcalf healthy, Seattle QB Geno Smith may be more comfortable handing the ball off to a member of his backfield against such a conquerable Cincy rushing defense.
After all, Geno did leave last week’s game against the New York Giants with an ankle injury.
I like Walker to pick up a chunk of yards and a touchdown in this one.
Joe Burrow – OVER 277.5 Passing Yards (-115) AND OVER 1.5 TD Passes (-140 DraftKings)
The Seahawks’ defense will allow some passing yards, that’s for sure.
Even Carolina Panthers’ backup QB Andy Dalton recorded 361 yards against Seattle’s defense in Week 3.
Burrow replaced Dalton in Cincinnati a few years back, and he will also decimate this Seahawks defensive secondary.
Burrow is coming off his first 300-yard passing performance of the season, and he may be finally shaking off the rust from his preseason injury.

The first four games of the season were essentially Burrow’s preseason games.
With the training wheels off and his connection with Chase rekindled, Burrow is now ready to get back to being Joe Cool.
Jared Goff, QB of the Detroit Lions, threw for 323 yards and three touchdowns against this Seahawks team, and I see a similar game coming for Burrow this week.
The Bengals’ defense has been subpar, and they will relinquish a decent amount of points to this effective Seattle offense, so Burrow will be slinging it to try and get Cincinnati over in Week 6.
Ja’Marr Chase – OVER 85.5 Receiving Yards (-120) AND Anytime Touchdown (-110 DraftKings)
Chase is coming off a monster game against Arizona, catching 15 passes for 192 yards and three touchdowns last week.
Against this vulnerable Seahawks’ secondary, Chase will be seeing plenty of targets once again.
Opposing wide receiver DK Metcalf made an interesting statement about Chase’s matchup with Seattle’s rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon.
“I think Devon Witherspoon will get the best of him.” – D.K. Metcalf on Ja’Marr Chase

Those comments could make Chase a man on a mission.
Although the storyline between Chase and Witherspoon has made its way around social media, the Bengals may line up Chase against corners Tariq Woolen or Coby Bryant.
Bryant has been beaten often in the slot, allowing Amon-Ra St. Brown to catch six passes for 102 yards in Week 2 and Adam Thielen to catch 11 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown in Week 3.
Chase has been seeing more work in the slot this year, currently ranked 29th in the NFL in routes run from the slot.
The previous two years, Chase ranked 69th in 2022 and 95th in 2021 in slot routes run.
Chase could find himself in the slot more often this week when the matchup calls for it.
Tee Higgins, Chase’s fellow wideout in Cincy, is still questionable to play.
If Higgins sits out again, Chase will be thrust into a larger role again this week.
Tyler Boyd and Trenton Irwin can only bring so much to the table.
This could be another Burrow-to-Chase game, and if the Bengals fall behind in this one, it will have to be.
