Travis Kelce has been a monster for the Kansas City Chiefs in the postseason.

In three postseason games, Kelce is averaging 7.7 receptions for 87.3 receiving yards and a touchdown.

That workload for Kelce shouldn’t be trailing off with the Super Bowl ahead.

Kansas City needs a big day from their No. 1 target in the passing game.

Speaking of ‘big days’, some bettors out there are placing wagers on Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce to propose to Taylor Swift after the Super Bowl.

That’d be interesting if that were to happen.

But what if the Chiefs lose?

That could be weird.

“Babe, I know I just lost the Super Bowl, but be my wife. Our lives together would be a real touchdown”.

Ugh. Take that somewhere else, Travis. Now is not the time.

Anyway, for Super Bowl 58, I’ll place an all-Travis Kelce Same Game Parlay on Caesars.

Kelce – ALT Receiving Yards: 100+, ALT Receptions: 8+, and To Score a Touchdown

As I previously mentioned, Kelce has been on fire this postseason.

Divisional: Buffalo65752
AFC Championship: Baltimore11111161

And in three career Super Bowl appearances, Kelce is averaging 7.3 receptions on nine targets for 85.7 yards.

When it comes to playing on the biggest stages, this is nothing new for Kelce.

When it comes to finding offensive success against the 49ers’, the best path is through the air against San Francisco’s 13th-ranked passing defense.

In the Niners’ Divisional round game against the Green Bay Packers, San Francisco allowed a combined seven catches from a trio of Green Bay tight ends (Luke Musgrave, Tucker Kraft, Ben Sims).

The Packers’ tight end trio still only tallied 27 yards on seven catches.

In the NFC Championship, the 49ers’ allowed nine receptions for 97 yards to Detroit Lions’ tight end Sam LaPorta, with LaPorta being Detroit’s leading receiver.

11-of-33 targets from Packers’ QB Jordan Love went to tight ends, while 14-of-40 targets from Detroit’s QB Jared Goff went to tight ends.

That’s 25-of-73 targets for tight ends against San Francisco in two playoff games, which is 34.2%.

If Patrick Mahomes were to have 40 pass attempts, that’d be about 12.9 targets to tight ends.

If Kelce receives at least 10 of those looks, he’s a solid bet to come away with eight catches, especially considering that Kelce’s 76.9% catch percentage was the highest mark of any season with at least 100 targets in his career.

The 49ers have allowed 7.89 targets per game to tight ends, the sixth-most in the NFL.

A bunch of targets at an atypical tight end like Kelce should result in some positive offense for the Chiefs.

Kelce collecting eight catches for 100 yards and a touchdown in Super Bowl 58 is within reach.
