In 2023, the Pac-12 is clearly represented on the field.
Five teams are currently ranked in the top 25 (after 11 weeks), with USC being ranked in the top 10 for a lot of the season and only recently falling out of the Top 25.
Unfortunately, that is where the good news ends for fans of this historic conference.
In 2024, the Pac-12 will become the Pac-2.
That’s right; only Oregon State and Washington State will remain in the Pac-12. (Now being called the Pac-2)

What happens to the Pac-12 moving forward is still anyone’s guess.
Is it possible that the Pac-12 is dissolved and Oregon State and Washington State join other conferences?
Yes.
Is it possible that the Pac-12 merges with another conference?
Yes. There has been a lot of talk about how they might merge with the Mountain West Conference.
Can the Pac-12 convince at least six other schools to join their conference in the next two years and remain a power conference?
