Although Monkey Knife Fight is categorized as a Daily Fantasy Sports site, it strongly resembles a sports betting platform to the extent of player props.

When you think of DFS, your mind likely goes to the salary cap games that you will find at FanDuel and at DraftKings.

However, Monkey Knife Fight is far from that. MKF’s contests are focused on player props.

At MKF, there are numerous unique ways that you can cash winning tickets by making picks from the top players in your favorite sports.

MKF uniquely mixes sports betting, player props, and DFS into a single fun format.

Founded in 2017 for beta testing, Monkey Knife Fight did not officially launch until 2018. Now, they are amongst the industry’s best DFS platforms.

MKF is available in over 35 states and can be accessed on any mobile device as well as their website on a desktop.

Would We Play at Monkey Knife Fight?

Yes, I would absolutely play at Monkey Knife Fight, which I have been doing for over two years.

Although I do enjoy salary cap-based DFS, there is nothing I love more than player props, which is the focus of MKF’scontests.

MKF’s contests are also extremely straightforward and easy to play and win.

While Monkey Knife Fight does not offer many promotions for existing users – not many DFS platforms offer these at all – their new user sign-up bonus is competitive and certainly enough to make you want to sign up and try the platform for yourself.

Betting Odds Quality

MKF does not offer odds in the traditional sense as it is a DFS site. Therefore I can’t make any comment in this regard.

An In-Depth Look At Monkey Knife Fight

Monkey Knife Fight was founded in 2017 for beta testing but did not officially launch until 2018 in California by Bill Asher, who is the owner of the San Jose Sharks.

Initially, MKF was only available in desktop format, but as the company grew, you can now find it in app format as well in over 35 states and regions.

Although MKF isn’t as large as the bigtime DFS platforms like FanDueland DraftKings, they still have notable partnerships with the NFL and the NFLPA, amongst others.

Monkey Knife Fight is not your typical DFS site. It is player-prop-based and more resembles prop betting than your traditional DFS contests.

You have the choice to play against other users and the house as well.

At this time, MKF does not offer a rewards system, but that can change as the platform grows.

And although they don’t offer many promos for existing users, Monkey Knife Fight’snew user sign-up bonus is one of the more aggressive ones in the industry.

For promotions like the ones for new users, they have MKF DFollars. These can be used like cash and only have a 1x rollover, which is industry-low.

Monkey Knife Fight Bonus Details

One of the best ways that DFS sites and sportsbooks keep themselves competitive to attract new customers is by deploying sign-up bonuses.

Although Monkey Knife Fight does not offer many promos for existing users, they have an outstanding bonus for new customers, which I will now explain.

All new MKF users will get a 100% deposit match up to $100.

This bonus will come in the form of MKF Dollars, which are just like cash, only you cannot cash them out until you play through them 1x.

You must also use your bonus within 30 days otherwise, Monkey Knife Fight has the right to take the bonus funds back.

To activate the MKF bonus, you need to do three things:

  1. Sign up and decide how much you want to deposit.
  2. Use the promo code BESTODDS. You also have the option to click the Get Bonus link you will find right here at Bestodds.com instead of the code.
  3. Make your initial deposit and away we go

If you want to be notified whenever a promo goes live, the best way is by following the site’s social media pages or checking the Monkey Knife Fight promotions page.

Registration Process At Monkey Knife Fight

If you want to register for a new account at Monkey Knife Fight, the process is simple.

If you have ever signed up to a DFS platform or a sportsbook before, then you will know how to sign up here.

Here’s what you need to do to sign up for a new account at MKF:

  • The first thing you want to do is activate your new user sign-up bonus. You can do this by clicking the link right here at BestOdds.com or using the code BESTODDS at registration.
  • Now, you will need a username, password, and email. And if you want to use the promo code I mentioned, you will do so here.
  • On the second page, you will be asked for your name, phone number, and date of birth.
  • Boom. That is it. While sportsbooks will ask you for more information like the last 4 digits of your SSN, you don’t need it to sign up at most DFS platforms. You can fill all of that out later if you choose to do so.
  • Finally, you will make your initial deposit to activate your bonus. Once your deposit hits your account, you are free to enter your first contest at MKF.

Monkey Knife Fight App Experience

While Monkey Knife Fight did not offer an app at first, they developed one since they have been immensely growing to cater to all players. But before you can use the app, you must download it.

Here’s how to do it:

  • Visit the app store on your device. The Monkey Knife Fight app is available in the iOS and Android stores
  • Next, enter “Monkey Knife Fight” in the search bar and hit submit
  • When you see Theive under the options that come up click the download button
  • Now that the app has finished downloading, you can log into it

If this is the first time you are using the MKF app on your device, you will be asked to verify your location, which is normal. This is part of the Geocomply process, which I will get into later.

As for the MKF app itself, it is extremely easy to navigate and runs fast. Just like the website. Those are two of the most important things I look for when choosing a DFS platform to play on.

Once you are signed into the MKF app, you will be directed to its home page.

From here, you can go anywhere you need to go. If you want to get to your banking options or enter a contest, you can do it from the home page of the app.

At the top lefthand side, you will find a menu button. From here, you can enter a new contest and access your account menu, dashboard, and recent transactions.

Meanwhile, the body of the page will feature the day’s most popular contests that are centered around in-season sports.

Once you click on a game to enter a contest, you will be able to access your player and wager selection screen.

This is where you will build your lineup and enter your wager amount.

If you have not used the MKF app, I suggest that you read the reviews at your app store and try it out for yourself. MKF prides itself on user experience.

GeoComply

Every sport betting and DFS platform must use a GeoComply service. This software is also called geolocation.

This software allows operators to pinpoint your exact location. They do this to make sure you are entering contests for real money in legal states.

Doing so will protect both the platform and the customer from breaking any laws.

If you are using a mobile device, GeoComply software is installed already. You just may have to turn it on in your settings.

On the other hand, if you are using a laptop or PC, you may have to install this software unless you are using a newer device.

Monkey Knife Fight Site Experience

The Monkey Knife Fight and app go hand-in-hand. If you can navigate one, you can do so on the other.

I will say that the MKF site can be a tad cluttered with the layout, but this is something that you will get used you. And while there are popups, those popups are tutorials for new users.

Another thing I like about the site is the fact that you can build a contest entry without signing up. Try it before you buy it.

I would say that compared to its prop-based DFS competitors, Monkey Knife Fight got it right with the website interface. It is fast and easy to use.

What else can you ask for?

Monkey Knife Fight Markets

Monkey Knife Fight offers its customers a wide variety of sports and markets to build tickets from.

You will find that they offer just as many as their competitors:

Monkey Knife Fight Contest Types

Monkey Knife Fight offers its customers three primary contest types that they can enter.

Below, I will list them and explain how to play:

  • Stat Shootout: In Stat-Shootout contests, users build a team of players that they believe can reach a predetermined statistical plateau based on the sport they picked to bet on. If a user’s team exceeds the chosen median, they will win the contest.
  • Rapid Fire: In Rapid Fire contests, users will pick their team by choosing which player will score the most in head-to-head matchups against other players from the same sport. Their players must out-score the players they did not choose to win.
  • More/ Less: In More/Less contests, users must pick from a pre-determined group of two or more players based on whether or not they think those players will reach a certain statistical plateau. You can also play More/Less contests based on projected fantasy points. For a user to win, all of their selections must be correct.

Monkey Knife Fight State Restrictions

Just like sports betting, DFS is not legal everywhere despite the fact that it is more accessible.

The good thing is that Monkey Knife Fight is live and operational in over 35 states and regions.

Some states such as Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Iowa are not open to MKF players just yet. Importantly though, if you are in Canada, excluding Quebec, MKF is available for you as well!

Loyalty Programs

Monkey Knife Fight is not offering any loyalty or rewards program at this time.

Customer Service

While Monkey Knife Fight does not offer many customer support options, they are very fast and reliable for your inquiries. There are only three options, one of which is a support bot

Here are the customer support options at MKF and how you can reach out:

  • Customer Support Phone Number: (888) 492-0002
  • Email Support: support@MonkeyKnifeFight.com
  • Support Bot

Monkey Knife Fight Safety And Security

Monkey Knife Fight puts its customer’s privacy, safety, and banking security as a high priority by deploying high-level firewalls to protect its systems from malicious threats and viruses.

MKF also protects its customer’s funds by keeping them in a separate bank account for added security.

MKF uses WorldPay which is one of the most reputable gaming banks in the United States.

For even more security, you will get a notification via email when you request a withdrawal.

This way, they can make sure it is you making the transaction request and that no one is trying to breach your account.
