G.O.T.I. Cowboys Offensive Powerhouse - image Last season, Dak Prescott and his Dallas Cowboys averaged 392 yards/game and 27.7 points/game.

In 2025-26, the Cowboys offense ranked:

  • 2nd in total yards
  • 2nd in passing yards
  • 7th in total points
Those are gawdy (not GOTI) numbers (pun intended) and probably the catalyst behind Prescott uttering the now-famous acronym this off-season. If Prescott can repeat those numbers again this year, he should be in the MVP conversation.

GOTI Growing Pains? Grading the Cowboys’ Offense So Far

With fancy acronyms come big expectations. The Cowboys have taken a lot of heat for their 2-3 record, but how much of that is on Dak?   Dak Prescotts G.O.T.I. Offense Stats - image

According to the data above:

  • Dak has been WAY above average in three of the five games. QBR ratings of 80+ are exceptional.
  • The only real blemish on Dak’s resume is last week against what was supposed to be an overmatched Bucs team.
  • Currently, Dak is third league-wide in QBR at 79.9, trailing only Brock Purdy (85.3) and Lamar Jackson (80.3)
  • Cowboys are ranked 5th in total points, averaging 27.7 / game
  • The Dallas offense ranks 11th in total yards, averaging 351.2/game through Week 5.

Can Dak Shred (Cheese Pun!) The Packers D?

After dropping two of their first three, Green Bay has a mini two-game win streak. It’s worth noting:
  • Against Tampa Bay, there was no Baker Mayfield.
  • Against Chicago, there was no Caleb Williams.

According to the data above:

  • The Packers Defense looks good statistically. However – Wentz, Geno Smith, Jalon Daniels and any combination of Bears QBs not involving Caleb Williams are all below-average quarterbacks.
  • Overall: Green Bay is 8th in yards allowed. 5th in passing yards allowed. 15th in points allowed.
Those stats are hard to gauge when the QB competition they have faced has been so poor.

Betting On The Cowboys Offense This Week

Important to remember that the single biggest edge a bettor has against the sportsbooks is the ability to Shop Around and play the best odds available. Cowboys Offense Betting Picks - image

Worth Noting About The Odds Above:

  • All sportsbooks appear aligned on Dak’s passing total being somewhere close to 275+ yards.
  • Dak has not thrown 2+ TDs in the Cowboys’ last 3 games, yet the odds to go over 1.5 are -171 or higher, depending on where you play.
  • Bet365 odds on Dallas Total Points are SIGNIFICANTLY better than DK and FD for the same total.
Knowing who to bet on is the name of the game, but knowing where to bet is important as well!
