The Super Bowl is set to kick off Sunday with the Seattle Seahawks battling the New England Patriots and the game will see record wagering. Recent data points that a growing number of NFL bettors are making wagers right in the stadium.
Last week, geolocation company GeoComply revealed data showing that in-stadium betting has become an increasingly-popular way to engage in NFL betting, according to the company’s Edge Stadium Data. Teams on the upswing seemed to see even more betting inside NFl venues.
“For some stadiums, growth in these metrics is tied to team success on the field,” the report noted. “The Broncos and Steelers returned to the playoffs, and the Patriots and Carolina had turn-around seasons both going from worst to first in their divisions to make the playoffs. These teams truly gave their fans something to cheer about this year.”

Geocomply offered up some key statistics that shed some light on how much NFL were engaged in betting activity and also offered a look at the top five betting stadiums from the 2025-26 season.
- 10-13% of fans at top NFL venues engaged with betting apps during games.
- 130-450 new wagering accounts were created per game. This shows how live events are helping operators acquire customers.
- Playoff teams saw spikes in in-stadium engagement.
- Las Vegas served as a unique “sports betting tourism” hub, bringing in betting fans from across the country.
