Overview

Promotional offers can be a bit of a rarity with some prediction market platforms, so it’s good to see that there’s a Plus 500 bonus to claim for new users who enter the promo code: PLUSPM20. This is what you’ll also find on Plus 500’s homepage, and can easily be copied to your clipboard.

Launched as a US predictions platform in 2026, but originally founded in 2008, Plus 500 is a fascinating operator. They cover a huge selection of markets, including sports, politics and science, which we’ll explore further in this Plus 500 review. We’ll also look at some of their promotional offers available, which include a ‘trade $10 get $20’ welcome bonus, and evaluate the quality and usability of the platform as a whole. With their longstanding expertise in the world of fintech and trading, Plus 500 is a compelling addition to the prediction markets space and will likely attract a sizable audience.

Get bonus trades at Plus 500

Promotional offers can be a bit of a rarity with some prediction market platforms, so it’s good to see that there’s a Plus 500 bonus to claim for new users who enter the promo code: PLUSPM20. This is what you’ll also find on Plus 500’s homepage, and can easily be copied to your clipboard. This offer allows first-time depositors to get a $20 trading bonus once they’ve traded $10 in prediction market contracts.

Referral bonus

Plus 500 also has a referral scheme, with commission credit available for the first four qualifying users referred. If a fifth qualifying user is referred, the resultant bonus is available for withdrawal.

VIP program

There is no VIP or loyalty program currently available on the Plus 500 predictions platform, which is a shame, but that may change in the future, perhaps subject to an editorial process review. plus500 logo - image

A compact, easy-to-navigate website

Plus 500 uses a black background, with white text for menu headings and blue and purple text for the prediction odds. This works well, with all the content easy to read and the odds standing out. There are also small images used next to each of the markets, such as pictures of politicians, company logos or sporting equipment. This is a nice touch and adds some extra color and character to what might have otherwise been quite a bland website. Once users are in the prediction markets section – and remember, Plus 500 also offers other products like futures, so it’s important to end up in the right place – the format is a simple vertical scrolling menu on the left-hand side of the screen where users select a category, with the available markets in that category taking up the majority of the rest of the page. These sections are surrounded by a border, which includes a summary of the user’s portfolio, plus links to a record of any open and closed positions, the payments page, and customer support. This all makes for an easy-to-navigate website, which is packed full of useful information, without being overwhelming. We think it’s really well designed and a real positive of this Plus 500 review.

There’s a Plus 500 app for mobile users

While the desktop version of the website is excellent, in this day and age it’s also important to have a strong mobile option, so the presence of an app is another benefit. This is located within the Plus 500 Futures app, with a simple toggle in place to take you to the prediction markets section. The app is available on both iOS and Android and is highly rated by users (it has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 on Google Play from more than 3,000 reviews). We can’t disagree with those reviews, as we found the platform to be just as user-friendly on a smaller screen.

A huge selection of markets is available at Plus 500

While traders have, in the past, been more used to platforms that specialize in smaller areas – such as those covered in sports reviews, for example – Plus 500 has joined the growing collection of prediction sites that have markets in a huge selection of different categories. This is due to its partnership with one of the major players in this field – Kalshi – which powers the Plus 500 predictions platform. This means there’s an excellent choice for users, with the table below detailing just a few of the potential options for a Yes/No contract.
Plus 500 Category Examples of available prediction markets
Sports Moneylines, handicaps and total points on football, baseball, basketball, hockey, cricket, Esports
Science and technology Top companies, release dates, space launches
Politics Election results, global events
Mentions Words and phrases used in calls and presidential speeches
Financials IPOs, foreign exchange prices, company performances
Entertainment Oscar winners, Grammy winners, Rotten Tomatoes ratings
Crypto Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana prices
Weather and climate Daily and hourly temperatures, hurricane categories
There’s almost no limit to topics that users can trade, and throughout, we found that liquidity was strong and the odds were highly competitive. Again, this is likely due to the Kalshi partnership, and it’s a big positive for users. To highlight just a few examples, each of these relatively niche markets had liquidity of more than $100,000 at the time of writing:
  • Number of major Atlantic hurricanes in 2026
  • Big Brother second place
  • Which companies Donald Trump will mention in September
  • AI capability growth this year

How to add and withdraw funds at Plus 500

Before they’re able to deposit money and place any trades at Plus 500, users will need to verify their identity, address and mobile number. Once that’s completed and a trading account has been approved, the following payment methods are available for deposits:
  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Bank transfer
  • Wire transfer
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
Unlike some of those sites featured in our crypto reviews, users are not able to make a deposit with cryptocurrencies. Deposits with prepaid cards and credit cards are also not allowed. The minimum deposit amount for cards is $10, while wire transfers are higher at $200.

Withdrawals

All withdrawals are processed back to the original payment method, and this is to protect against fraud and money laundering. There are no withdrawal (or deposit) fees at Plus 500, which is good news, though there is a small $0.02 fee on all prediction market contracts, made up of a $0.01 exchange fee and a $0.01 commission. plus 500 dashboard - image

Excellent customer support at Plus 500

With any prediction market site as varied as Plus 500, there are likely to be occasions when users have queries, so it’s really positive to see that there are several customer support options available. The first port of call is the FAQs section, which is available via a ‘Support’ link at the top of the main website home page. This is pretty good for explaining how prediction markets work in general, including the rules and how the markets are priced. For more specific queries, there are three support options available via the ‘Live Support’ button in the bottom left-hand corner of the logged-in home screen. They are:
  • Live support
  • Contact form
  • iMessage
Live support is generally the fastest way of getting a response and will connect users with a real human agent, provided one is available. The contact form allows you to submit a ticket, which is responded to by email. We tried this and received a response in less than two hours, which was great. Finally, the iMessage option allows you to contact support via text message – helpful if users would prefer to receive a notification on their mobile instead of checking for emails or hanging around on a live chat page.

Plus 500 ticks all the regulation and credibility boxes

With prediction market platforms perfectly legal but still relatively new to the US, it’s vital that operators are credible and properly regulated. Happily, that’s 100% the case with Plus 500. They are regulated by both the National Futures Association (NFA) and the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The prediction market tie-in with Kalshi is also fully legitimate, as that company is CFTC-regulated as well. On the credibility front, Plus 500 is arguably in a stronger position than most, as the parent company – Plus 500 Ltd – has been around since 2008 and is even listed on the FTSE 250 (the London Stock Exchange’s Main Market). In addition, they have several high-profile sponsorship agreements, including with the major Spanish soccer club, Atlético Madrid, and the Chicago Bulls.

Our verdict: Plus 500 is highly usable and highly credible

Given their extensive background in fintech, and specifically prediction trading platforms, there are few companies which are more credible in the current prediction markets space than Plus 500. The team-up with Kalshi also appears to be an excellent move, as it has resulted in strong liquidity across the board, which is crucial given the huge variety of markets available to trade. On top of this, users will find a generous welcome offer, where they can trade $10 and get a $20 trading bonus, which is a good chance to try out the platform using minimal funds. Once they do try the platform, they’ll also see that it’s been really well designed, using an attractive but professional layout, with well-positioned menus which make navigation easy. To try out Plus 500 and take advantage of their sign-up bonus, just click any of the banners or links on this web page.
